The third annual Governor’s Energy Excellence Awards was a tremendous success. The Governor’s Energy Excellence Awards Steering Committee would like to thank the governor and his administration for their support, the sponsors and funders of the event, and—most of all—the more than-90 nominees whose commitment to reducing energy waste fuels the ingenuity and wild creativity present in the projects we celebrate. While only a few dozen of these nominees are represented here, it is the collective impact of each decision made by an individual family, business, and nonprofit organization that contributes to the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of not only this state, but the world. We encourage you to take on your own energy project and nominate others for the fourth annual Governor’s Energy Excellence Awards.
